Wormwood is one of three Characters introduced in the Hamlet DLC. He appears to be an animate plant, akin to Treeguards, though he has a green cut stone on the front of his chest. Wormwood is friendly while a little eccentric, addressing things such as insects as “Bzzters” and birds as “Tweeters.”
Is Wormwood good in DST?
I absolutely love Wormwood, and he’s been a great addition to my roster of characters to play, primarily because he provides a different playstyle without being overbearing. Wormwood can get somewhat abusive in Don’t Starve Together, especially if you pair him up with the right teammates.

The Bucket-o-poop is a craftable item from the Reign of Giants and Shipwrecked DLC. It is crafted using 4 Logs, 2 Bone Shards, and 3 Manure. It is used to maximize the uses of Manure as fertilizer. It has ten uses; each use decreases its durability by 10%.

Wormwood can use Manure, Guano, or Bucket-o-poop to fertilize himself, restoring 2 Health. Food items do not heal Wormwood. Wormwood takes 25% more damage from fire, and burns for slightly longer.
Can wormwood grow giant crops?
Personally for Wormwood, when I go for giant crops I just use the hoe. I know he can plant without them, but I find it much easier to make sure all my crops are in the correct tile and close enough by using the hoe weirdly enough.
