Megan Tarash, also known as the Epic Firefight, is a member of Steelheart’s inner circle. She infiltrated the Reckoners, a group that kills Epics, but later rejoined the group after Jonathan Phaedrus was corrupted by his powers.

Do David and Megan end up together?
At the end of Firefight, instead of taking a romantic moment, they instead pondered about Megan being free of the desire to kill David. The end of book 3 was also missing a great opportunity for David and Megan to celebrate finally being able to be together.
What is David’s weakness Steelheart?
In this encounter, he first uses his power to turn nonliving objects to steel on accident. However, David soon realizes that he was wrong, and that Prof’s weakness, and his fear, was failure. He defeats Prof, and then asks Obliteration to teleport him to Calamity, which is obliged.
What are Profs powers?
Prof can turn inorganic matter into dust. This dust seems to have less volume and weight than the original substance. He can also carve improvised weapons such as swords using this ability.
What was Steelheart’s weakness?
Steelheart received this fear (and thus his weakness) during his job as a night watchman. He was afraid that someone would not respect his authority, and wanted everyone to obey him. When someone wasn’t intimidated by him, he became afraid.
Does Megan survive in Steelheart?

In the book Steelheart, she is working with the Reckoners to bring down Steelheart. However, during an attack, she dies, much to the dismay of The Reckoners. But it’s later revealed that Megan is indeed an Epic as David discovers her very much alive and walking.
