What happens if I fail the CSCS test?
What happens if I fail my test, can I take it again? If you are not successful first time around, don’t worry; we can book you another test once 24 hours have passed. You cannot sit a another test within 48 hours of your initial test time.
Is a CSCS worth it?
In terms of the overall fitness industry, the CSCS is by far the best strength and conditioning certification. The CSCS is an NCCA accredited exam, meaning the CSCS exam content has been thoroughly vetted by subject matter experts in the field of strength and conditioning.
How long does a CSCS certificate last?

How long does it take to study for CSCS?
3 weeks to 9 months
Depending on experience, it may take you from 3 weeks to 9 months to study and become a certified strength and conditioning specialist. The exam contains two focuses: Scientific Foundations (Exercise science, nutrition, and psychology)
How long does it take to do a CSCS course?
The course is run over 1-day and is assessed by a multiple choice exam at the end, as well as your overall class participation.
Do Labourers need a CSCS card?
While CSCS Cards are not legally required on all construction sites, the vast majority of employers do require them in order to allow workers on site. Have a look at the list of different CSCS Card Types to make sure the Labourer Card is for you.
Can you do your CSCS test online?
Booking a CSCS test is straightforward and can be done online or by telephone. You should be able to get an appointment for your test at the CSCS test centre of your choice within two weeks. When booking, you will be offered a test date and time immediately.

How long does a labourer CSCS card last?
CSCS does not offer any courses or qualifications.
This card is valid for five years. It is currently not possible to renew a Labourer card. However, you can apply for a new Labourer card when your existing card expires.
Can I get a CSCS card on universal credit?
This course is free for individuals aged 19 or over (before the 31st July 2018) and in receipt of Universal Credit, JSA, Income Support or ESA and anyone earning less than £15,700 per annum.
Can I get a CSCS card through the Jobcentre?
If you’re unemployed, your local job centre can provide you with financial support and pay on your behalf. Much like the case with job centres, support will be available if you have a probation officer. If you’re already employed by a construction company, they may pay on your behalf.
How do you get a CSCS card if unemployed?
CSCS recommends that you contact the training providers in your local area to discuss what funding is available. If you are unemployed, please make an appointment with your work coach at your local Job Centre. They will be able to confirm what funding is available to assist your journey into work.
