With Cinder cores, you’re getting a 21% faster XP rate, but losing bonus XP twice as fast. The moment you run out of bonus XP, pulse cores become outright superior as they provide bonus XP in themselves and an inherit XP buff while the Cinder Cores rely entirely on bonus XP.
Are cinder cores worth using?
PSA: Cinder cores are not as useful as you might think, and here’s why. Normally, bonus XP gets consumed at the same rate as you gain normal XP: you’ll consume (and thus, receive) 1 bonus XP per every 1 base XP you gain.
Can you bring pulse cores in dungeoneering?
Advanced pulse cores also work in Dungeoneering. Ironman accounts cannot receive the buffs.
How much XP does a pulse core give?
Each pulse core has 4,168–17,204 (depending on total level) bonus experience that is granted in whatever skill is being trained whilst it’s equipped. Once the bonus experience charge has run out, the core will explode, granting a 2% experience bonus to all players in the vicinity for 10 minutes.
